supportive and comfortable.had an ikea mattress and this fits perfectly. you need to have a knack to opening the drawers but once youve cracked it i can get the linen inside as they are spacious. no problems observed and had it for about 4 months now. good compromise as we already had a mattress and my son turned 17 and needed a bigger bed to stretch his long legs.and was fed up with the creaking of a wooden bed he had outgrown
