Pocket sprung mattress contour to your body shape and offer more body support while you sleep. In a pocket sprung mattress each individual spring is housed within a fabric pocket. The individual pocketed springs are then placed in tight rows throughout the mattress. The Relyon Cavendish 2400 Handmade Mattress is handcrafted with a double layer of centre tied pocketed springs and topped with layers of hand teased natural fillings. Hand teased lambswool and horse hair combine to offer luxurious levels of softness, providing warmth in winter and coolness in summer.
Each pocketed spring is nested in a honeycomb pattern and hand tied with linen cord. As you move the pocketed springs shape perfectly to your individual body contours due to each spring having its own independent action.
The mattress is finished with four rows of hand side stitching, Silver Plus anti-bacterial protection and an anti allergenic layer that ensures a great night’s sleep without discomfort.
